I thought I had done this before but I was wrong. Anyway, I am now following you from my primary tumblr, mymomreviewsmyphotos.com
Your stuff is awesome, i love your recent reflection shots!
Take it easy,
Thank you for following me! I love all of your tumblrs (just found the iphone one.. brilliant photos!) I especially love the rating system your mom uses on your primary tumblr. My mom also has a dog named Toby.
Really glad you like my stuff… Thanks for checking it out.
Yes I was honestly planning on doing that because I knew you’d love to see them! I just got home, I think I got some pretty good ones. There were some great musicians there as well as speakers. It went really well and I’m proud of Morgan!!
Awesome I can’t wait to see them! I’m glad it went well for Morgan I am very proud of her too…What a great thing to do. Sounds like it was fun! :)
i just bought a canon ae-1, got any advice for me?
i was wondering how you like your camera too :)
Oh fantastic! I’ve had mine for five years now and I absolutely love it. I’m a believer in getting to know a camera…My advice would be to get comfortable with it & you’ll have much more control over your results. Take it everywhere & shoot intuitively. Just shoot whatever you feel like, and often you will have very beautiful accidents. Hope this helps!
Just wanted to say I admire your photographs and I recommended you this week! I absolutely love your double-exposure shots, you matched them up very nicely. Did you think them through beforehand or just get out shooting and wait to see the results?
Oh thank you very much! I shot the whole roll in about a half hour. With the first half of the roll I was shooting & rewinding right after each shot so I knew exactly what was going over what.. But the second half of the roll I just shot a bunch of butterflies and trees in the park near my house real quick.. Then I went home and shot the pictures of me over top of those. So, I guess I kinda knew what was going over what, but not exactly.
Your photos are lovely! How long have you been shooting for?
Thank you! That’s kind of a hard question to answer. I got a polaroid camera for my tenth birthday.. Took dozens of photos of my cats and horses. (I had a lot of animals growing up.) I would say I really got serious about it when I was sixteen or seventeen when I started shooting with SLRs. I just graduated from University this past May, and I got myself a BFA in photography. So I would say that I have been doing it for six years or so. I also make a lot of other things that have nothing to do with photography (collage, painting, book making, paper making, etc.)
